Roman Village Collection

As a little girl, I was fascinated by ancient cultures and civilisations. I was given a book on the Greeks and Romans. In this book is a picture of a village carved on a clay tablet by an Ancient Roman. This collection is my interpretation of that, produced by carving into wax and then being cast in precious metals.

Ocean Waves Collection

As humans, we are drawn to the sea. Nothing invokes the power and strength of mother nature as ocean waves. This collection tries to capture some of the different moods of the sea, from gentle little ripples to seismic tsunamis.

Polar Bear Collection

These majestic animals are the epitome of strength, persistence and independence. Their maternal instinct is incredibly strong with mothers raising their young to be just as resourceful, patient and fearless as them.

Sea Drift Collection

This collection is my interpretation of the misty, salty droplets of water drifting from the tops of waves in the breeze. Frozen in motion, the sea spray is captured in precious metal, reminding us of the sometimes playful nature of the sea.

Sea Urchin Collection

The crustaceans of the sea are many and varied. This collection is reminiscent of sea urchin shells. Having five-fold symmetry, the tactile outer texture juxtaposes the finely polished interior.

Coral Collection

Colourful and varied, a coral reef is in fact a colony of tiny creatures that are attached to and rely on the rest of the colony for survival. They are extremely sensitive to changes in their environment such as temperatures differences or toxins. We need to celebrate the biodiversity of our reefs. This collection is my little celebration to corals.
